The Management Committee at Brechin City has confirmed that a new sponsorship arrangement has been secured for the current season.

Laurencekirk-based Blaze Manufacturing Solutions Ltd has agreed to support the club and is introduced to members and supporters as co-sponsors of the popular 1983 Hospitality Lounge.

This new arrangement is in conjunction with existing lounge sponsors – and long-term supporters of the club – James Lammond Ltd.

Blaze Managing Director Howard Johnson said: “As a family we have been supporters of Brechin City for 20 years.

“It is with delight we are in a position to support the club through our business, Blaze Manufacturing Solutions Ltd and we look forward to developing a closer relationship.”

Howard added: “Having been regulars at Glebe Park over the years we are pleased to continue our association and look forward to seeing the Hedgemen climbing the League One ladder.”

Chairman Ken Ferguson said: “We are delighted to enter into a new sponsorship agreement with Blaze Manufacturing Solutions Ltd and to welcome them to the club.

“As we look forward to the season ahead we are extremely grateful to Howard and Ann Johnson for supporting Brechin City in this way.

“Our hospitality lounge offers a comfortable venue for fans to meet up to debate the merits of each game pre and post-match.

“We greatly look forward to welcoming Howard, Ann and their guests to our forthcoming fixtures.”
