Darren Dods welcomed a trio of new signings as Craig Johnston, Kevin Buchan and Jamie Montgomery agreed deals with Brechin City.
Added to the earlier acquisitions of James Dale and Dene Shields, it takes the City squad up to 14 - with Dods hopeful of adding two more by the end of this week.
Brechin took a 4-1 victory in their home friendly against Highland League outfit Deveronvale on Saturday, Andy Jackson hitting a hat-trick with a trialist scoring the fourth.
Dods was chuffed to further add to his playing pool.
He said: “We’ve managed to bring in a few boys as well so it’s been good. Kevin Buchan, Jamie Montgomery and Craig Johnston have come in on top of Dene Shields and James Dale.
“It’s good to be building the squad. Those three have been training with us from the start so it’s great to get them on board.
“It was good to see Andy scoring a hat-trick. It was great for him, it always is for a striker to score. It was good to create so many chances.
“I was disappointed that we conceded from a set piece but we’ll work on that. We made a lot of chances.
“We’ve got 14 signed up just now.
“Hopefully I’ll get two more in by the end of the week. I’m looking to get to about 19 then maybe adding a couple of loan players.
“We’ve got Dundee this Saturday so the games are coming fast.”
