The second Brechin Youths/Brechin City Fun Day will be held on Sunday (August 10).
The highly successful event was held for the first time two years ago, and both committees are delighted that the Fun Day is returning this year.
Proceedings kick off at the Glebe at 12 o’clock and, as well as the on-field, there will be side stalls in and around the park.
The games on the park will involve all ages from six-year-olds to the 16s, as well as two special challenge matches in which Ray McKinnon’s guests will take on Darren Taylor’s all stars; and the managers of the Youths’ teams will battle it out with their charges. There will be penalty kick competitions for all age groups.
Burgers and hot dogs will be on sale, there will be a bouncy castle and slide and various other games and competitions for all the family. It is also hoped that a number of other sporting activities will be available for the youngsters to try out on the day.
The 1983 Lounge will be open throughout the afternoon while the Delson Lounge will serve teas and coffees. Entry is free.
Fixture date confirmed
The Petrofac Training Cup Second Round tie against Peterhead will be played on Tuesday, August 19, at Glebe Park.
