Four friendly matches in the pipeline

AS the countdown to the 2011-2012 season continues Brechin City have four friendly fixtures in the pipeline.

The pre-season action kicks off with an attractive match at home to an Aberdeen eleven on Thursday, June 30 (with a kick-off of 7.45 pm.)

Unbelievably, that match is just over two weeks away!

On Tuesday, July 5, Dunfermline Athletic will be visitors to the Glebe, then will follow two away games, at Highland League champions Buckie Thistle on Saturday, July 9 and at Pollock FC on Tuesday, July 19.

The competitive season kicks-off in earnest on Saturday, July 23 when Falkirk are visitors to Brechin City in the opening of the new Ramsdens Cup.

The following Saturday, July 30, will see more cup action at the Glebe, when third division Clyde pay a visit for the opening round of the new season’s Scottish Communities League Cup.
