Hudsons remain unbeaten

Hudsons 8, Black Abbot 0

Hudsons hit the Black Abbot for eight on Sunday to remain unbeaten at the top of the league.

The home side took the lead in the 32nd minute. Barry McDonald made a great run on the right hand side and passed the ball to Fraser Smith inside the box, who turned, beat his marker and struck the ball well, his shot hitting the bar. Lewis Hutcheon was the first to react, and slotted the ball home from close range.

Hudsons added a second in the 40th minute, Dave Lindsay made a good run into the near post to head the ball home for his second of the season.

Joe Smith made it there before the break when he received a good through-pass from Mark Garnes and slotted the ball low and hard into the bottom corner.

The fourth goal came in the 60th minute when Scott Ferguson combined with Gary Southam, beat the keeper, and struck the ball into the empty net.

Soon it was five when Barry McDonlad and Fraser Smith exchanged passes and Barry crossed the ball to Sean Cunningham, who finished well from inside the box.

Aaron Walker added a sixth in the 75th minute, and there were further goals from from Barry Mcdonald and Gary Southam befroe the end.

This was a very good win for Hudsons as it was the first time they had got the better of Black Abbot for a few games.
