McKenzie strikes as City win at home

BRECHIN City further strengthened their promotion play-off place aspirations with a single goal victory over Stenhousemuir at Glebe Park on Tuesday evening.

The all important goal came in 69 minutes when on-loan Kilmarnock striker Rory McKenzie fastened on to a Paul McManus pass to fire into the corner of the net.

Next up for City, who have leap-frogged East Fife into fifth place in the table, is a trip to take on league leaders Cowdenbeath this Saturday, with basement club Stirling Albion at Glebe Park on Tuesday evening of next week.
