IT HAS been revealed that a pitch inspection is planned tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12 noon ahead of Brechin City’s clash with league leaders Queen of the South.

The news, which was first revealed in a statement on Queen of the South’s website, comes after Saturday’s match against East Fife was postponed less than an hour before kick off, due to areas of the pitch being deemed unplayable as a result of wet patches.

It has previously revealed that drainage problems both inside and outside Glebe Park has caused a headache for the club, who now have four games to make up.

The statement of Queens’ websites said: “Following Saturday’s late postponement, club officials at Brechin have confirmed they will arrange a pitch inspection for noon on Tuesday before we set off for our scheduled midweek meeting.”
