BRECHIN City manager, Jim Weir, has finally completed the signing of Inverness Caledonian Thistle veteran Roy McBain.
The City gaffer attempted to recruit the defender in the January transfer window, however Roy picked up an injury the very day he was due to move to Glebe Park.
However, Weir has now finally got his man and he believes the vastly experienced former Dundee United and Ross County player has a crucial role to play.
“Roy is a vastly talented individual and he is also a player who has looked after himself. He will add vital experience for the run in. We have a number of tough games coming up and we needed a bit more depth in the squad.”
There was more good news for City today (Friday) with Aberdeen manager, Craig Brown, allowing on-loan striker Mitch Megginson the opportunity to remain at Glebe Park until the end of the season.
