The Pirates, the Brechin Junior Rugby Club, recently staged their annual awards night at their home at Guthrie Park cricket ground.

All squads, parents and helpers were recognised for their efforts and dedication this season.

After a long rugby year due to the harsh winter, the club now breaks for the summer, with the season starting again on Sunday, August 14 at Guthrie Park Cricket Ground.

Players from four years are invited along at 11 am to join in.

The Pirates have had a good year and are now in the process of buying new equipment for the coming season.
