Keeping up the good work

Have your say

While the gloom surrounding Dunfermline’s East End Park is making passing motorists switch on their headlights, Brechin City need only one point from their last two games to clinch a play-off place.

And the Glebe Parker’s manager, Ray McKinnon, was indeed a happy bunny after Saturday’s three-nil thrashing of the former Premier Division side - it was his 50th competitive win as the side’s boss.

He cautioned, however: “We need to do a job next week against Stenhousemuir, and also the following week against Stranraer, and we’ll be focussing on that during the coming week.”

McKinnon continued, however: “As far as today was concerned this was a really good team performance, and a vitally important three points.

The whole team was fantastic.

“Each and every one of them did the job they set out to do and I’m absolutely delighted for them.
