Brechin Beavers Amateur Swimming Club held its award presentation earlier last week.

Gaining awards were:- Life Member - Pam Thomson; Dave Hill.

2011 Mini Gala Series - Seven and under boys: Winner - Joel Thomson; Runner-up - Jacob Smith. Seven and under girls: Winner - Lana Cheyne; Runner-up - Jazmin McMillan. Eight and Nine year old boys: Winner - Aaron Angus; Runner-up - Liam Willis. Eight and nine year old girls: Winner - Elle McMillan; Runner-up - Lisa Duncan. 10 and 11 year old boys: Winner - Kerr Morrison; Runner-up - Cameron Ritchie. 10 and 11 year old girls: Winner - Juliette Simpson; Runner-up - Erin Scott. 12 and 13 year old boys: Winner - Gordon Simpson; Runner-up - Lewis Hill. 12 and 13 year old girls: Winner - Kirsten Duncan; Runner-up - Fiona Nicoll.

In addition to the award a presentation of Personal Best certificates were presented to every swimmer who beat their previous fastest times at their last gala.

Brechin Beavers ASC are holding a Club Gala at the swimming pool in Montrose on Saturday, February 11 which is open to all club members. There were be the chance to take part in lots of events with many opportunities to gain some Personal Bests.

Well done to everyone at the swim team.
