Angus is set to host part of a stage of the Open Adventures ‘STING in STIRLING’ race today (Wednesday).
The gruelling competition sees teams of four, including at least one woman, take on a mammoth challenge of travelling 620 kilometres over 5 days - leaving little to no time to sleep. The event sees competitors running, cycling and canoeing in order to get to their destinations.
The current event, which started on Monday (August 20) in Stirling will finish on Friday, also in Stirling.
The seventh stage, a trek, will take competitors into Angus as they make their way over hills. The House of Mark bed and breakfast in Glen Esk will play host to competitors, acting as a stop off point, providing food and water.
