Brechin darts fans are set to welcome the current PDC World Champion to town this Sunday (May 10) when he attends an exhibition.

Gary Anderson, nicknamed The Flying Scotsman, scooped the 2015 Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Championship title on January when he defeated Phil Taylor.

However, the Scot, who is currently third in the order of merit, is set to face tough opponents when he arrives at the Nova Function Suite on Sunday to face Brechin darts fans.

The exhibition, which has already sold out of tickets, will also be attended by Michael Smith, nicknamed ‘Bully Boy’.

Darts fans had the opportunity to purchase a gold ticket for £50 which allowed them early entry and a guaranteed leg of darts.

Silver ticket holders (£40) also get early entry, whilst bronze ticket (£30) were also available for those just wishing to watch the action.

Early entry is at 1 p.m., with bronze ticket holders arriving an hour later.
