WITH calmer and brighter weather at Lintrathen Loch recently, the anglers were enjoying better sport than previously.

Some good catches were coming to the basket with local angler, Willie Milligan, taking a nice rainbow of 4lbs 8ozs during his outing.

This was bettered later by another Lintrathen member, Jim Moncur, who brought in a beautiful deep finned rainbow of 6lbs 2ozs.

Flies doing well this week were Pearly Dabblers, Sedgehogs and any size 14 or 16 dark flies fished on top of the water.
