WITH the general increase in temperature, the fishing on Lintrathen loch has improved considerably.

Fish are moving about the loch and holding about one to two feet down.

Big fish are being taken with the best recently being one at 6lbs 4ozs, taken by John Browning of Glen Isla.

Lintrathen member, Willie Milligan from Kirriemuir, did well with Snatchers, by taking 5 fish and returning 22.

Midge tips were doing the business with nymphs, snatchers and small dark flies.
