Defeat for Parkview in Senior League

Last Tuesday (May 27) Parkview Bowling Club club played host to Letham in the Angus Senior League and were unfortunate to lose in two of the three rinks, suffering a 31 shots (zero points) to 47 shots (seven points) defeat.

On Friday night in the Angus League, the club suffered a second successive defeat, this time to Barnhill 50 shots to 41.

Saturday’s friendly at Maryfield saw a close game with the home side winning 59 shots to 54.

In this week’s Gents Forfarshire ties, the club had success in the Junior Singles and the Triples, but unfortunately Scott Stewart lost in the singles.

This Friday (June 6), in the Angus League the club host Maryfield and are looking to get back to winning ways.

On Saturday (June 7) the friendly is a mixed match at Inverbervie.
