Brechin super league darts’ team hosted Laurencekirk on Friday, June 21, hoping to continue their unbeaten streak against them.
Much like their last match against Arbroath ‘B’, it was a closely contested affair that once more went down to a last tie decider.
The match was very evenly contested - with the visitors gaining a two leg advantage early at the start, but Brechin brought themselves level at the break.
With one tie left to play, and the score sat at 6-5 to Laurencekirk, it was down Malcolm Gibb to win his match to secure the points. He duly stepped up and recorded a solid three nil victory.
Brechin’s next tie is away to joint league leaders,Arbroath ‘A’, on Friday, July 12.
