The latest Midland Golfers’ Alliance competition, the Athol Palace team competition, took place Pitlochry Golf Club in Perth and Kinross.
There was a tie for the first scratch prize with Donald McKay, Wellsgreen (P), and Alastair Webster, Edzell (P), both scoring one under par scores of 68.
In the handicap section Chris Westland, Alloa (11), had a remarkable net score of 59, to win by eight shots. Chris lead his team of Ken Thomson, Alloa (14), and Fraser Mann, Carnoustie (P), to the top team prize with a score of 53.
