On Tuesday, Parkview played Montrose in the Angus Senior League and recorded a 53 shots to 30 shots win and this week travel to Lochlands for the second round of games.

Friday night saw the start of the Angus League when the club were hosts to Lochee and in a very keenly contested game, Parkview managed to score 7 shots over the last 3 ends to win 48 shots to 46.

In Saturday’s friendly at Canmore, Parkview lost by 108 shots to 93 shots.

Sunday saw the Moira Low Trophy Points competition take place in a round robin format with Harry Bushnell, Craig Hutcheon, Gordon Duncan and Kevin Warden winning the sections.

In the semi-finals, Craig defeated Harry with Gordon getting the better of Kevin.

In the final both Craig and Gordon continued the excellent bowling on a very good surface and it was Craig who triumphed by eight shots.

This Friday the Angus League team travel to Forfar looking to continue the good start to the season and on Saturday the friendly is away against Barnhill.
