Last Tuesday (May 13), Parkview Bowling Club hosted Carnoustie in the Angus Senior League, where all three rinks won and recorded a 50 (7 points) to 35 (0) win.
On Friday, May 16, in the Angus League, Monifieth were the visitors and returned home with a 53 shots to 47 win.
Saturday saw Parkview play Brechin in the first of the year’s friendly games and suffered a 109 shots to 103 loss.
In the various Bowls Scotland games, Bert Low’s rink and Ena Christie in the Senior singles both progressed to the next round along with Scott Stewart in the Junior Singles.
This Friday, the Angus league team are travelling to play at Fairfield hoping to return with a victory.
On Saturday Friockheim are the visitors in a club friendly.
On Monday, May 26, (2 p.m. start) the Bowls Scotland District Five Ladies and Gentlemen’s Senior semi-finals take place at Parkview, with a 2 p.m. start.
The gentlemen’s semi-finals are to take place on Thursday (May 22), with a 6.30 p.m. start.
