Success for Parkview in Senior League

Parkview Bowling Club travelled to face Canmore in the Angus Senior League last Tuesday, June 3.

The club recorded a victory, and earned five points in the process. The full league results were as follows:

Canmore 29 (2 points), Parkview 51 (5 pts); Hope Paton 36 (2pts), Montrose 46 (5pts); Lochlands 38 (2pts), Arbroath 40 (5pts); Carnoustie 47 (5pts), Newgate 37 (2pts); Forfar 40 (4pts), Carnoustie WE 36 (3pts); Letham 42 (5pts), Monifieth 31 (2pts); Boyle Park 38 (2pts), Abbey 52 (5pts).

On Friday night in the Angus League, Parkview won 67 shots to 38 against Maryfield.

At Saturday’s friendly in Inverbervie, the club had a successful win but the scores were kept secret as they were there to have fun.

Ena Christie won her game in the Angus and Perthshire Single Ladies and Jodi Allison won her game in the Tayside Ladies.

This Friday, the Angus League are playing away at Letham. On Saturday the club host Carnoustie at Parkview.

The club will also host the Ladies’ Invitation Triples sponsored by Mackie Motors on Sunday.
