Brechin is set to welcome Aberdeen based Wrestlezone to the town for their fifth annual event at the City Hall.
The family-friendly group are set to take to the ring on September 27, with one wrestler in particular hoping to make an impact.
Dave Paterson, who during the week is a design and technology teacher at an Aberdeen secondary school, is better known as wrestler Mr Paterson, or Mr P to his fans.
The wrestler is set to pair up with newcomer Kaden Garrick to take on Revolution pair Johnny Lions and Damien for the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships.
Mr. Paterson said: “For the past year, I’ve been learning the hard lessons of trying to make it as a professional wrestler.
“I have some good days and some bad days, but I always pull myself off that mat every time I’m knocked down and just keep coming back for more.
“In Brechin, this is a great chance for myself and Kaden Garrick. Revolution are a strong pairing and have a lot of big match experience in their locker.
“But this bout will be my biggest opportunity to date, and I am determined to score high marks and leave with accreditation as one-half of the new WrestleZone Tag Team champions.”
The tag team match is just one of a number taking place at the City Hall and WrestleZone host Martyn Clunes expects a great night of action.
He explained: “Brechin is always one of the best stops on the WrestleZone calendar and we hope all Angus’ wrestling fans can join us for a great night of pro-wrestling action.”
Doors at the City Hall open at 7 with the first bell at 7.30 p.m. Admission is pay-at-the-door only, priced £12 for adults and £8 for under 14s.
