Wild and wonderful professional wrestling is to return to Brechin later this month.

The stars of North-East promotion WrestleZone will be in bone-crunching action at the City Hall on Saturday (September 29).

Colourful characters such as Scotty Swift, Crusher Craib and Los Cystos will face-off inside the squared circle on a night that guarantees fun for all the family.

The main event will be a very special occasion for popular fan favourite Bryan Tucker (27) who gets a shot at the WrestleZone Undisputed Championship.

The gutsy underdog faces not one, but two opponents in Brechin, but he is determined to leave the City Hall with the shiny championship belt around his waist.

Tucker – who is currently one half of the promotion’s tag team champions – said: “This match can’t come soon enough, as I am ready to give the wrestling fans a champion they can be proud of.

“This summer has been very successful for myself and my tag team partner Shawn Johnson. But since losing the undisputed championship in March, I have waited for this opportunity to win back the gold.

“I know it won’t be easy, but I have one thing on my side, and that is my enduring determination to reach the top of the pack once more. In Brechin, I will walk into the City Hall as a man with a plan, and I aim to walk out with the undisputed championship.”
