POPULAR central defender, Davie White, has accepted Jim Weir's offer of making his return to Glebe Park a permanent one by signing a new deal with the club.

The defender who suffered a double leg fracture in a home fixture against Ayr United has played throughout City's pre-season warm up matches and as Jim Weir revealed in last week's "Brechiner" he was about to make the player an offer to make hie return to the club more permanent.

Davie's new contract was concluded after Brechin City's 5-1 win over his former club Cowdenbeath.

White had previously been "freed" by former City boss Jim Duffy, to continue his rehabilitation in junior football. However, his impressive form in the pre-season fixtures has seen him return to the Glebe.
