THE likes of which has never be seen before at Balkeerie Hall promises to be a night to remember this Saturday when the art of burlesque is revealed to all - all for a good cause.
Former circus ring-mistress Louise Lear-Jones and her neighbour Kathryn Garrett-Sutherland have joined forces with friends Scarlett Flame, Favourite SIn, Magenta Lust, Misty Vievavoom and Madame Rose la Touche to provide a fund-raising night for village hall funds which will more than match any coffee morning or quiz night!
The ladies are slightly wary of performing in front of the locals in what promises to be a bodice ripping success, but all proceeds will go towards the running of the community hall.
Tickets are available from soundaswesome.com/services/Burlesque@Balkeerie, via Facebook on the Burlesque at Balkeerie page or by calling 01307 840286 or 07923 462125.
The evening is billed as a bit of fun “bawdy and a little rude” although there is no stripping or pole dancing - it’s tease!
Louise said: “There is limited capacity but if the “sold out” signs go up then that would be lovely”
There will be a bar as well as a range of gifts for sale. Strictly over 18s only. Doors open 7 pm. Tickets £5.50 in advance, £6 on the night.
