Behind the scaffold in Brechin

The second talk in the 2012 programme for The Friends of Brechin Town House Museum is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21 (today) at 2 pm in the upstairs gallery in the Town House Museum wih entrance free and refreshments provided.

The subject for this month’s illustrated talk is ‘Brechin Townscape Heritage Initiative – The Merchant’s House and Other Key Projects’ and will be given by Sarah Kettles who has been the driving force behind this exciting project to regenerate the future of several historic buildings in Brechin.

Sarah will give an informative insight into the different buildings, the problems associated with getting things under way and an update on the progress. The talk will provide a valuable ‘behind the scaffold’ story of all the hard work that has been carried out to ensure that Brechin retains its historic fabric and making it available for the next generation and beyond.
