The roar of hundreds of Harley Davidson motorcycles is expected in Brechin this Saturday (July 12) as Bravo host their third Harley event.

The Harley Davidson in the City spectacular will also see the first outing of Bravo’s giant water slide.

The slide, which is approximately 200m in length, will be constructed down City Road and is set to open at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Locals will also get the opportunity to see the bikes take part in a ride out starting from Brechin Castle and travelling through the town and out around the surrounding area before parking up in Clerk Street.

Before the motorcycles embark on their route, the City of Brechin and District Pipeband will march from the castle at 11.45 a.m. with the ride out expected to leave at around noon.

Live music will also be taking place in the town centre, with the Stables Car park and the Swan Restaurant Car park hosting bands from early afternoon.

Organisers of the event are expecting a large turnout. A spokesperson for the event explained: “We had almost 4500 people on the streets for this event last year and we are expecting an even larger crowd this year with more bikes also attending.”
