Brechin’s Junior Library Corner

Christmas is over, no doubt all the sweeties have been eaten and life is back to normal.

Hopefully Santa was good to everyone. At the start of every new year we make resolutions and we all hope that one of yours is to pop into Brechin Library regularly to borrow books.

Story Time:- If you are under five please remember that every Tuesday starting on January 10 you can pop along from 10 am to 10.30 am and listen to a couple of stories read to you by a member of staff.

Bookbug Rhymetime:-

The sessions will start back up on Tuesday, January 10 from 11 am to 11.30 am This is for the under-fives and is a lovely way to meet new friends while singing songs and rhymes using puppets and musical instruments.

Chatterbooks starts back on Tuesday, January, 24 from 4 pm to 5 pm.

As it’s the start of a new year members will be reading books about diaries.

BAM (Books, Art, Music):-

If you are aged between seven and twelve years why not pop along and join Leah for an hour of fun with books, crafting and music.

BAM sessions are held the first Saturday of every month and the first BAM session of 2012 is Saturday, January 7 from 2 pm to 3 pm.

Remember, library staff like to hear about the books you have read and whether you have liked them or not.

Christine, Yvonne, Karen, Glenda, Arlene and Leah hope that you have a brilliant 2012 and look forward to seeing you in Brechin Library.
