Brechin Photographic Society is back in action after their summer break.
Meetings commenced on Tuesday (September 4) in the St Andrew’s Hall where president Peter George gave a warm welcome to new and existing members.
The programme for the year ahead will include workshops, guest speakers, fun nights and competitions.
Themes chosen for this year’s competitions are action, take a closer look, in all weathers and street life.
Photographers are encouraged to interpret these titles as they wish and it is hoped that a diverse range of images are submitted for judging.
All competitions are divided into beginners, intermediate and advanced levels.
Members use all types of camera equipment from DSLR, compact cameras to mobile ‘phones.
One of last year’s winning images was entitled ‘Let’s Share’ by Ian McLachlan.
If you think you can capture a winning image or wish to improve you photography skills then contact the secretary Gordon Milne on 01356 626824 or visit our web site on www.brechinphotographicsociety.org for information.
