Easter in the City gets underway this Saturday (April 4), with a variety of activities for the whole family.
The day stars at 10 a.m. with tea/coffee and hut cross buns in the City Hall, with soup served from 12 noon until the end of the event.
This year will also see a special show performed at the City Hall with a showing at 12 noon and another at 3 p.m.
Entitled An Easter Tail, it is an interactive show not to be missed written by Tony Scott George for Brechin. Tickets £5 each are still available from Sweets and Treats, News Plus, Rosie’s Bakehouse or on the day in City Hall.
Vintage and Military vehicles, Classic Cars, old fashioned side shows, market stalls and Brechin Brass Band make the High Street worth visiting. The Town House Museum once again hosts the bonnet and bunnets entries.
An addition to the event this year is an Easter egg hunt in the grounds of the Cathedral and Round Tower tours.
A spokesman said: “If you can spare a couple hours to man the side shows please phone Hazel on 07956617356 or Helen on 07599430905. It would be very much appreciated.”
