Genealogy event at Glenesk Musuem

Glenesk Folk Museum is hosting an afternoon of free genealogy advice on Sunday (July 6) from 2 to 4 p.m.

Frank Horrocks, an expert in ancestral research, will be starting the afternoon off with a fascinating talk. He will explain how to embark on the process of unearthing your family tree using digital and other sources.

He will also explain how to follow leads and what to do when your trail seems to come to a dead end.

Gilbert and Agnes Lowden, who have spent decades immersed in Glenesk’s history, will offer an introduction into their detailed study of the genealogy of Glenesk families.
