AN ARTIST’S obsessive dialogue with line, tone and colour is currently being exhibited at The Meffan in Forfar.

Dundee artist Louise Ritchie’s exhibition is entitled Imagineering.

If reflects her continued exploration of experience versus imagination and her obsessive dialogue with line, tone and colour.

Her work exploits canvas, paper, print and stitching using paint, ink and thread to create real and imagined spaces which encourage the viewer to look from afar, up close and through. Her paintings are not representational but are more a memory of place. The exhibition runs until Saturday, October 6.
