If you’re wanting some handy tips on how to make jam, then head to Peel Farm, Lintrathen on Saturday, August 10, for a jam-making workshop.
Frances Fleming will lead the demonstration which coincides with the ‘World Jampionship’ event at the Dundee Flower and Food Festival.
Frances said: “We are supporting the jam making competition which will be judged at the Dundee Flower Show in September.
“The closing date for entries is August 15. We are a dropping off point for entries and are trying to encourage people to make jam.
“We will provide all the ingredients for the workshop which costs £10.
“This covers the cost of the ingredients and entry to the Jampionships.”
The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Booking is advisable on 01575 560718.
On Sunday, August 11, there is a ‘meet the mini donkeys’ event from 12 to 4 p.m.
The ‘crafter of the month’ at Peel Farm is Beth Pollard who will be demonstrating her felt work. Full details of events are available from www.peelfarm.com and on Facebook.
