Jubilee celebrations at Tannadice

TANNADICE Village and Church will be holding a weekend of Jubilee Celebrations this coming Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, June 9 there will be a village street party organised by the Tannadice Village Improvement Group to which all villagers and church members and friends are invited to attend.

The following day, commencing at 2 pm, Tannadice Church will hold a jubilee fete in aid of church funds. The Brechin City Band will provide entertainment and there will be a number of stalls including a number being run by local youth organisations.

Cream teas or burger rolls and soft drinks are included in the entry fee of £2.50 for adults and £1 for children.

At 3.30 pm a duck race will be held in the manse burn and prior to that children’s games in the grounds of Kirkside House.

The organisers of the Street Party and the Fete look forward to the support of Villagers, church members and friends to these events to celebrate the 60th year of Queen Elizabeth’s reign.
