Two Brechin artists are looking forward to opening an art exhibition in Brechin for three weeks.

Allison Ross and Mac Nicoll are to display their artwork on the walls of the Brechin Arms Public House.

The duo, who held successful exhibition in July 2001, are back again with an exhibition of their recent paintings and artwork.

There will be a wide variety of work on display including landscape, surreal, oblique portraits, abstracts and interiors, giving the opportunity for everyone to find something that will interest people off all ages and varying artisitic tastes.

Allison and Mac said: “Work will be displayed in the lounge and the bar.

“We held a similar exhibition almost ten years ago which was a great success so we thought that it was time that we repeated this success.

“Most of the work will be for sale and commissions are welcome.

“We would like to thank Bob and Izzy Stack who have always been very supportive of our work.

“We would also like to thank them for making the walls clear and allowing us to display our work at their bar.”

The exhibition gets underway at 2 pm on Saturday, February 26 and will run for three weeks.
