The third Angus Open Studios begins this week, running from Thursday (May 23) to Monday (May 27), showcasing the work of 60 artists.
In the Brechin and Edzell area, three participants will be showcasing their work.
First is Wendy Page, who will be exhibiting at The Wirren Gallery, 40A High Street, Edzell.
She specialises in drawing and painting, using a variety of media, including watercolour, oil and acrylic. She credits the local countryside and Angus coast as inspiration for her work.
The exhibit is open daily from 11 a.m until 4 p.m. during Open Studios, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday (closed Monday) at all other times.
Amy Mason is also exhibiting at The Wirren Gallery, sharing the space with Wendy Page.
Amy will be taking part in her third Angus Open Studios, displaying her handcrafted jewellery.
She works not only with sterling silver, but also with copper, perspex, polymer clay and paper.
The final local exhibitor is Teresa Bennett. It is the first year that she has participated in the event.
She works with pastels, oil, and watercolour to create her paintings and will be exhibiting at 142 Denstrath View, Edzell Woods.
Her images vary from woodland and landscapes to nautical.
Opening times for the exhibition are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Open Studios and by appointment only during the rest of the year.
