The cartie race is just one of the ‘Hallowe’en in the City’ event planned by BRAVO Brechin.
On Friday, November 2, the Monsters Ball is set to make a return to the town, with attendees encouraged to wear fancy dress.
The evening, which will be held in the old City Club on Southesk Street, will have live music by Fubar, who also performed at this year’s Brechin Music Fest.
Tickets for the event, priced at £10, are available from Print Matters on Swan Street, Rosie’s Bake House on the High Street, and Bruce Brymer Butcher on St David Street.
A spokesman for BRAVO commented: “There will be fun, frights and frolics Friday, November 2, at the Old City Club in Brechin as the City hosts it’s Monster Ball.”
The first event, held last year, was a sell out with live music, food and fancy dress providing attendees with a night to remember.
Money raised at these events go back to the BRAVO group to help fund future events - including ‘Christmas in the City’ and ‘Easter in the City’.
