A silent auction is to make up part of St Andrew’s Church Autumn Sale, after a number of artworks were donated to the Rainbow Charity Shop.

Gill McKnight, who took over the running of the charity shop earlier this year, had the idea after noting the local interest the prints, which are of the Brechin and Lethnot area, could have.

Gill explained: “One of the prints has been personally signed by James McIntosh Patrick, entitled ‘Midsummer in East Fife’.

“There are a number of local sketches, boxed toys, single records, a fine tea set and some old books.

“All goods will not be sold until the auction, so do come along and see what treasures we have!”

The autumn sale will take place in the City Hall in the morning of Saturday, October 11.
