Edzell’s Inglis Memorial Hall, will play host to the band VAMM - a three-piece band consisting of Patsy Reid, Catriona Macdonald and Marit Fait.

VAMM, an old Shetlandic word meaning to bewitch or entrance, will play only a handful of Scottish gigs with the concert at Inglis Hall in Edzell on Saturday, November 23, being the only one in the north-east.

To complement the evening concert VAMM will be holding two workshop sessions at the hall in the afternoon. The first inspiring hour-long workshop takes place at 3 p.m. and caters for fiddle players at an intermediate and advanced level and a workshop at 4 p.m., lasting 90 minutes, welcomes people of all levels of experience with any instrument.

The evening concert starts at 7.30 p.m. with doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 concessions or £25 for a family of four. Soft drinks and tea and coffee will be available.

Workshop tickets cost £5 for one or £8 if you want to take part in both.
