Breabach back in Brechin

Members of Breabach, a very successful, traditional folk group, are to re-visit Brechin High School next week.

They first visited the school last June, when, after performing to classes in the school and a workshop with instrumental pupils, the pupils and the members of the band performed in Brechin Cathedral to a large audience.

Next week’s visit will span over two days. As a follow up to their previous visit, they will once more perform to pupils within the school and then work with singers and instrumental pupils of the High School, as well as violin pupils from Montrose Academy.

There will be a concert of Traditional music in Brechin High School’s Assembly Hall on Thursday, February 24, which will display the joint work of Breabach and pupils, as well as spots from the band and performances from ensembles within the school. Entry is £5 pay at door. All welcome.
