The second Brechin Music Fest is set to return this year, with one of the first major events aimed at entertaining the younger music lovers.
The organising committee of Graeme Strachan, Wendy Coutts, Hazel Coutts, Charlie Cameron and Chris Black have already dedicated many hours planning this year’s event, and differentiating it from other music festivals by ensuring there will be entertainment that will appeal to all ages.
Catering for all the family has been an aspiration of the Brechin Music Fest, and the committee were delighted when they scooped the only appearance in Angus of kids favourite ‘The Singing Kettle’ who will be holding two “Jungle Party” shows on Sunday, August 10, at 12 noon and 3 p.m.
The Singing Kettle’s Anya, Kevin and Gary are ready to have a great time in Brechin City Hall and everyone is invited.
A spokesperson for the Brechin Music Fest said: “There will be fun and frolics, heaps of actions to join in with and a massive singalong at these Singing Kettle Party Series Shows. The customary coloured Kettles give all the clues to favourite songs like ‘Leap Frog’, ‘Do Your Ears Hang Low’, and ‘Bear Hunt’ and more. Roars of laughter and fun-filled surprises along the way will captivate and enthral the whole family.”
They added: “We are delighted to be bringing The Singing Kettle - Jungle Party’s only Angus show to Brechin City Hall. It is sure to be an action-packed and high energy show offering the unique Singing Kettle experience. Kids and adults alike are encouraged to dress up as their favourite animal on the day. This will be a non-stop, totally awesome festival of fun for girls and boys of all ages.”
