AN Angus cultural landmark is the subject of a new book in advance of the bicentenary of its founder.
Hospitalfield House in Arbroath is well-known in art circles as one of the most important cultural resources in Angus.
Now, as the bicentenary of Patrick Allan-Frasser approaches in 2012, a book by Hospitalfield director Willie Payne will be released later this month.
It contains many rich illustrations and a wealth of information relating to the history of the influential art institution and a foreword from Honorary Patron Sir Mark Jones. The book, simply entitled “Hospitalfield House”, will be launched at Hospitalfield’s Christmas open day on Sunday, December 11, priced £6.50 or two for £12. All proceeds will go towards supporting Hospitalfield House.
