Organisers behind next year’s Brechin Music Fest are already busy behind the scenes thinking of ways to raise funds for the event, and to kick off the fund raising they have organised a special fund raising night at the Nova Suite on Saturday, September 15.
Doors open at 8pm with live music from Forfar musician Gav Hedge starting at approximately 9pm to 9.30pm.
The evening will then progress onto the waxing with Chris Black, Bobby Dunlop and Graeme Strachan offering, maybe rather grudgingly, to have their hair removed.
And here is where it really gets good - you have the chance to give a donation and pull off a strip of wax.
The evening will then be rounded off by former Flicks DJ Graeme Strachan who be dusting off the decks and playing some old skool music as well as some party tunes.
Tickets, costing only £5, are on a strictly first come, first served basis, with no tickets being allowed to be reserved.
With only 150 tickets available for the night, if you want a ticket you better get one quick before they sell out.
Tickets went on sale yesterday (Tuesday) and are available from the Victoria Bar on Montrose Street and The Stables on Market Street.
All money raised on the night will go towards Brechin Music Fest 2013.
The organising committee already have acts confirmed to play during Brechin Music Fest 2013 but are still keen to hear from any new or established band who would like to take part in the first ever Brechin Music Fest.
