The City of Brechin and District Pipe Band held an open day on April 25 at the Band Hall at the Inch.

The band were hoping to gauge interest in forming a Novice Juvenile ban for those up to the age of 18. The open day was also an opportunity for people to learn a bit more about what the band does, what it is about and how the instruments work

As well as playing at local events, such as the pageant, the band also competes in a number of competitions throughout Scotland during the summer, and perform at various highland games up and down the country.
