LIVE music from the 80s will blast out over Scone Palace next month after the go-ahead was given for the Rewind Festival.
The massive open air festival will be head-lined by Tony Hadley, The human League and Rick Astley who will be joined by Bananarama, Hue & Cry and Kim Wilde.
A 20,000 strong crowd is expected to attend the event which runs on July 29 and 30.
David Heartfield, or organiser Rival Organisation, is looking forward to what he says will be a “fantastic” event.
He said: “We’re delighted and very grateful to all the people who have worked hard to ensure this will be a successful festival.”
More than half the tickets for the extravaganza have been sold and it is anticipated that there will be an influx of fans from across the globe eager to see their dream line-up.
The festival is proving extremely popular with an extraordinary number of people coming from overseas, especially from Japan and the United States.
ABC, Cutting Crew, Billy Ocean, Howard Jones, Heaven 17, Go West, T’Pau, Nik Kershaw, Toyah and Perth’s own Fiction Factory are scheduled to play at the festival.
