THE music continues at Monikie Hall this Friday evening when Sean Wilson appears in concert.

Sean began his musical career at the age of ten when his father bought him his first accordion.

After a few lessons from a local teacher, everyone knew Sean had a great talent for the instrument.

He joined the family band playing local venues and further afield.

After a few years Sean was signed up by the London based Prism label and this was to launch Sean Wilson on the global market.

From then Sean’s life has been busy playing gigs all across England, Scotland and Ireland with a few trips to the USA and Australia.

Having recorded 26 albums and ten videos Sean has recently signed a deal with a new London based record company, H&H Music.

His current catalogue consists of a wide array of tunes on CD and DVD format.

Sean is very busy all year round playing concerts and dances.

He developed his singing, along with his accordion playing and was soon spotted by an Irish based record company. He is a house-hold name and has received an award from the Federation of British traders.

The music continues next month with a concert by the ever-popular Alexander Brothers on Saturday, July 2.
