Despite the recent snowy weather the Angus Gold drama group managed to carry out a small tour of sheltered houses across Angus with their very own pantomime - ‘Life Should be a Box of Chocolates’

The Pantomime was conceived and written by the group and their drama worker Ann Craig.

Even the fantastic costumes were all made by the group themselves, causing much hilarity in the process.

The show was received with much laughter and enjoyment - a visitor at one of the shows even asked if they toured in Glasgow!

The group, as the Fairy Queen admits: “Are not in the first flush of youth!”

Despite no-one in the troupe having ever been involved in amateur drama before Angus Gold, one of the Sheltered Housing Tenancy Officers said: “They are an inspiration and they demonstrate that you can take on new skills and new fun at any age.”
