A local drama group has issued an appeal to residents in Edzell and Brechin for some rather unusual props.
Edzell Drama Group are gearing up for their performance of comedy show ‘Customer Service’ in November, and are hoping to borrow some props for the show.
The chairperson from the drama group, Anne Newsome, commented: “We need a pair of real handcuffs, hundreds of used scratch Lotto cards and wads of thousands of ‘fake’ bank notes.”
The props, as Anne explained, are to be used in “a whacky farce with a bunch of comic characters in a department store.”
If you have any of the props the group are looking for and are willing to lend them out, please contact Anne on 01356 648378.
Anyone interested in joining the drama group for this, or future production, should also get in touch with Anne on the number above.
The drama group are set to stage their autumn show on Friday, November 14, and Saturday, November 15, at Inglis Memorial Hall.
Tickets for the performances will go on sale in Edzell Post Office and Edzell’s Spar shop from mid-October.
It’s not the first time the group have appealed for unusual props. Earlier this year, they were on the lookout for an elephant’s foot umbrella stand for their spring production.
