The Rotary Club of Kirriemuir is holding its annual bothy nicht in Memus Hall on Saturday, May 26 at 7.30 pm.

Entertainment will be of a high standard with two world premieres being staged by Kirrie’s answer to Scotland the What.

“Kirrie the Fit”, alias Rotarians Allan Thomson and Bob Wallace, will be in “The Surgery” – a ditty about a bothy lad visiting the doctors surgery with a complaint and also staging “The Titanic” a closely guarded storyline from Allan and Bob.

The evening will be MC’d by well known thespian and farmer James Arnott who no doubt will have a few stories to tell.

On stage alongside the above, Davina Farquharson will be singing accompanied by Lynn Patullo.

Rotarian David Hoskins will be providing music on the squeeze box and a host of other entertainers are being booked for the evening.

Tickets to include stovies and dumpling are available for £12.50 from any Rotarian or from Currie & Co, Accountants, Kirriemuir.
