Edzell Drama Group were on top form last week when they put on their own version of the Footlights Review.

The audience was treated to a varied collection of sketches and musical items. This included the two Ronnies and the two Connies, interspersed with the Reverend I. M. Jolly, a teuchter policeman and Alas Smith and Jones.

The review, which was produced by Andy Turnbull, was hugely appreciated.

Possibly the highlight of the evening though was the enchanting Harp recitals of Mearns Academy youngster Gina Gallacher.
